NOTICE:
Garbage sticker fees will increase effective June 1, 2011. The $1.00 sticker for the 13-15 gallon bags will be increased to $2.00. The $2.00 sticker for the 28-30 gallon bags will increase to $3.00. If you have unused stickers, you can use them up by putting more than one sticker on a bag (i.e. put a $1 and $2 sticker on a 28-30 gallon bag or two $1 stickers on a 13-15 gallon bag). We have ordered new $3.00 stickers and they should be here shortly. Thank you.
Annual Drinking Water Quality Report
To comply with State regulations, the Village of Chatham, will be annually issuing a report describing the quality of your drinking water. The purpose of this report is to raise your understanding of drinking water and awareness of the need to protect our drinking water sources. Last year, your tap water met all State drinking water health standards. This report provides an overview of last year’s water quality. Included are details about where your water comes from, what it contains, and how it compares to State standards.
If you have any questions about this report or concerning your drinking water, please contact Ed Czyewski at 518-392-2525. We want you to be informed about your drinking water. If you want to learn more, please attend any of our regularly scheduled village board water meetings. The meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the Tracy Memorial Village Hall, 77 Main St., Chatham, NY 12037.
